About this site
I am an adventurous explorer, a strategic thinker, a self motivated achiever, unique creative designer, nature lover, entrepreneur thinker, Apollo enthusiast, and Walt Disney admirer. In my mind, trying is always better than accepting less and if you aren't strategizing, you aren't really living. Whether it's striving/strategizing towards climbing all the CO 14ers, running a 100 mile race, building a space craft away ahead of its time to "land a man on the moon and bring him safely back to Earth", or simply take any small win that you can get on a day to day. I created this website/blog to be not only an expression of who I am but to also spread joy and inspiration to others so they too will not give up on being their best, living their best, and being the best version of themselves that they can possibly be.
Lessons from Apollo
I’ve always been captivated by the Apollo era of NASA. That audacious push to land humans on the Moon wasn’t just a technological triumph—it was a masterclass in what humanity can achieve when we work together with purpose, precision, and courage. My posts about the lessons I've learned and meant to inspire and encourage others to follow along the same successful world changing path! Learn more on my Apollo Homepage
What Documentation is
Most people sooze or groan at the idea of documentation. But the reality is that people interact with documentation and rely on it every day, whether it's what your boss communicated with you last week, who said they would pick up your son from soccer today, to what your medical history shows. My posts about documentation are designed to be short, fun, and unique insights into what documentation is and how beneficial it is to all of our lives! Complex Concepts Made Simple
I’ve always believed that the most powerful ideas don’t need to sound complicated to be profound. My passion is taking complex concepts—from science, technology, philosophy, personal development, or whatever sparks curiosity—and breaking them down into clear, practical insights anyone can understand and use. So a string of my posts about just that to hopefully inspire others to keep learning and growing! Learn more on my Complex Concepts Homepage
General Inspiration
Another string of posts that you will find here are about inspiring people whom I've met, worked with, and follow online. Whether it's ultra athletes, outdoor enthusiasts, or a friend or co worker, there are extraordinary people in this world, people to remind us that life is tuff, but worth living and living to the fullest however we can even if it's just one small step at a time. These posts are meant to express my thoughts, encouragement, life lessons, and how these people have shaped me. Learn more on my Inspiration Homepage
QA Engineering & Development
With a doubt, the highlight of my career has been my involvement with QA testing, learning about development processes, and programming architecture. Thanks to my husband and a friend, I've been encourage and introduced to the world of programming and QA engineering. Through that, I was introduced to the process of manually finding and solving bugs, setting breakpoints, database structures, and much more and even saw the transition for programmers using Agentic AI in development. I've researched everything from reverse proxies, controllers, middleware, frameworks, libraries, API calls, DOM tree, the structure of browsers, and many things in the world of .Net.
